Deciphering the Early Pregnancy Signs

So you sense you may be pregnant but not sure whether those signs you are experiencing may well indeed be early pregnancy signs.  It helps if you have been pregnant before, because then you know exactly what to look for. Although I do have to highlight that not every pregnancy is the same. You will not have the same pregnancy symptoms with each pregnancy but being an experienced mother will mean it isn’t hard very hard to recognize early pregnancy signs.

For those experiencing first time pregnancies, it may be difficult and confusing for some to detect those early pregnancy signs.

The reason why it is hard for some women to tell whether they are pregnant or not is their symptoms might not be very intense. They think their menstrual period is coming or they might be getting sick. Their life might be busy or very stressful, so they aren’t paying attention to the early pregnancy signs. However, if you start experiencing things like nausea, weight gain, and tenderness in the breasts, it is very possible that you are pregnant.

Spotting the signs

One of the first early pregnancy signs is weight gain and the feeling of being bloated. This might seem odd to someone who hasn’t been overeating or indulging in extra sweets. Suddenly, their clothes are getting tighter and extra uncomfortable. The problem with this sign is you can experience it with the menstrual cycle. If a period is expected, you will also have a little bit of bleeding or spotting. For those women very in tuned to their body, they will notice all of these differences. This blood isn’t actually a period, but it is called implantation bleeding. Cramping can also be felt during this process, which is why some women feel like their period is on its way

All of a sudden you might be dealing with unusual food cravings. They can become very demanding, as you suddenly crave lots or sweet or tons of salt. They can be strange things you never tried or a food you never liked. Besides this, certain things are starting to turn your stomach. You feel nausea at the sound of a word, a certain taste, or a specific smell. Morning sickness usually waits three to four weeks until after conception, but it can be sooner than this for some women. There are others who never experience it at all.

Other early pregnancy signs are extreme tiredness and fatigue, as the hormone progesterone skyrockets. This feeling is manifested if there is another child in the house or you work long hours on your feet. Feeling worn out usually becomes apparent within a week after conception, especially when your body is exhibiting lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar levels, and an increase in blood production. A woman feels like they don’t have any energy and it becomes harder to complete any of the usual activities. It will help to eat a balanced diet and to get to bed sooner than normal.

The other part of the body that goes through a transformation is the breasts. This is one of the first steps towards motherhood, as they become darker and larger. They also become more tender and sensitive as your pregnancy moves along. Some women don’t mind them being touched, while others won’t want anything near them.

The most obvious sign is the missed menstrual period. Take this into account and check to see if you are exhibiting some of the above symptoms, because it can be hard to miss the early pregnancy signs. Some pregnancy tests can be used within two days of a missed period and can be completely accurate with their results. This is why it is important to purchase a quality test from a reputable company. However, if nothing is determined at this point, wait several more days and then try again. The hCG levels double every two days, which means the farther you go along, the easier it will be to tell if pregnancy is an option.

Reason for the early pregnancy signs to occur

Your hormones are the main culprit for a great number of the signs and symptoms you are experiencing. Once you have experienced some or all of the early pregnancy signs and are pretty sure there is a bun in the oven, you should do a pregnancy test to confirm it. Do not stress yourself over the changes that you are experiencing as they are just a normal process all pregnant women goes through and most of them are just temporary.
